MY STORY. MY JOURNEY.

My interest in natural therapies began when I had a neck injury whilst travelling Australia in the 1990’s.  I was treated by an Osteopath in Fremantle who worked so gently and with pressure points.  The results astonished me as I very quickly recovered from a lot of pain with stressed and inflamed tissue.

I was greatly inspired and returned to the UK to study and initially treat clients with Reflexology and Shiatsu.  I also attended many classes in dance and martial arts (Kitaido) a passion of mine.

In 2002, I returned to Australasia, this time New Zealand to study Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy with Resonance Trainings.  Ged Sumner was one of my tutors then and I went on to be assistant tutor on his new ‘Body Intelligence’ Program. I worked on the ‘Body Intelligence’ trainings between 2007 - 2015 with roles of assistant tutor, and tutor and clinical supervisor at student clinics.

“I am passionate about supporting clients to access their abundant inner heath.”

movement healing and

heart-centred practice

By 2017 I had also trained in my other passion in dance/movement as Nia dance instructor.  I began teaching Nia dance classes (a somatic movement practice) and co-facilitated dance workshops and retreats with practitioners in Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy as well as other complementary modalities such as Acupuncture, Yoga and Heart centred living workshops.

I continue to facilitate sessions in Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy and Nia dance and also provide supervision for recent graduates and practitioners.

I’m currently practicing and teaching in Nelson, New Zealand.

“I have been very fortunate and honoured to have had support and guidance from very experienced, teachers and colleagues who have shared their insights and wisdom with me over the years. This has been invaluable for me in finding my own strength and answers within my practice.”
